The Scat I hovercraft, designed and manufactured by Scat Hovercraft Incorporated, was a small, lightweight, single-seat recreational hovercraft known for its versatility and ease of use. It featured a fiberglass deck and an ABS plastic hull. The Scat I used the Rotax 277 singe cylender engine. Scat Hovercraft was a large volume hovercraft manufacture producing quality hovercraft at an affordable price. Scat Hovercraft revolutionized the light hovercraft industry.
